As a passionate art historian visiting Spain with my family, we recently enjoyed a delightful stay at Jardin. Nestled in a charming locale, the hotel’s old-world charm resonates deeply with its rich surroundings. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who immediately made us feel at home. My 6-year-old son quickly found a special bond with the owners, as they made an effort to connect despite the language barrier. Practicing my Spanish was an added bonus! The hotel’s location is perfect for families, with easy access to the stunning ‘via verde’ trail. We spent wonderful afternoons biking as a family, with secure bike storage offered by the hotel. The nearby quaint restaurant, La Pequeña Estación, where we dined together, was a hit with everyone. For breakfast, we enjoyed homemade cake and preserves, a simple delight that we all appreciated. What resonated most was the family-friendly atmosphere—genuine and inviting. This stay gave us a taste of the real Spain, and we are already planning our return.
